Be Confident…Friday Quotes!

Why do we have to wait for others to make us feel how we want to feel? We shouldn’t wait for a compliment to believe it. We are the only ones who have complete influence on how we feel, why not feel confident?

Whether being beautiful, having many talents, being funny or smart is what makes you think less or more about yourself, think that you can be you and still be awesome. Sometimes, almost all the time in fact, we compare ourselves to others, and of course we realize that we are not like them. But that doesn’t mean we cant be awesome too. Think of it like this, we know someone that we think is just so amazing, but we also know someone completely different to that other person who is just as amazing, then, why can’t we be different from everyone and be awesome too?

The moment you start to believe it, you are. You are whatever you want to be. You are you, you are going to live with yourself for the rest of your life, so you better start being confident and recognize all your talents and focus on all the amazing things that you have as the great individual that you are.

And it’s Friday, so that means I’m going to post great quotes about being happy and confident. Aghh I loved this week.

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

Norman Vincent Peale

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.

Marie Curie

Be happy with what you have and are, be generous with both, and you won’t have to hunt for happiness.

William E. Gladstone

Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.

Omar Khayyam

Thank you,
Minnie.

  1. Wow! Inspirational. Thank you for putting such lovely thoughts together. Long ago, at my first job in publishing I did the revised cover design for one of Norman Vincent Peale’s books. I don’t specifically remember the content – just that his words too, were very uplifting šŸ™‚ Thank you for sharing
